Investigation of the Function of Propolis to HypertensionRatsCHEN Wen-bing,ZHUO Bi-rong, MIAO Xiao-qing*(Bee Science College of Fujian Agriculture and ForestryUniversity,State and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Natural Biotoxi, Fuzhou350002, China) After observing the blood pressure, heart rate, serum indexes and organ indexesof the rats which has a hypertension caused by L-NNA, the results showed thatcomparing with the control group, ethanol extract of propolis had obviousfunctions of lowering blood pressure, the level of cardiac index, MDA, AngⅡ andET-1 in blood serum of the rats, and had function of raising the level of heartrate, SOD and NO. It shown that ethanol extract of propolis has obviousprevention and cure functions of hypertension and related Pathological damage causedby L-NNA. This paper also studies the curative effect of combinationof ethanol extract of propolis and Captopril Group. And the result showed thatthe combination group had better effect than any individual of them.
